I’m not the “Impulse Buy” type. And I’m not really a Bug fan. (Well, except for a One Owner 68 Bug that’s sitting in a family member’s garage. I want that one!)
This little guy just kinda said Buy Me in a way I couldn’t resist. (Being $2.99 helped)
I blame Orlove, Ballaban and Torchinski.
Infectious bastids!

Kinja crop led me to believe that a bolt-action rifle was somehow the Anti-Torchbug. Needless to say, I was a little confused.

Yeah, I’ve stopped trying to understand Kinja. Now I just post and let HAL show what it wants.
That’s actually a Break Barrel Pellet Rifle. It too was an impulse buy. It has a heck of a kick!

Statement:
“And I’m not really a Bug fan”.
Subliminal message: I have a gun and I will protect my little bug.

I thought it was about the gun as well. A few years ago I went to this thing in Las Vegas hosted by the gun stores there in the desert which was a “bring your own ammo” desert shoot with full autos. Shot a G3 and UMP .40 at what looked like could be a VW Beetle door lol.

Never tried to reblue a gun part. Is it easy?

Oddly yes.
My first attempt didn’t work out too well because I didn’t follow directions. The second go was much better.
